Wire Frames, Modals, & Mobile Flow

Visualize for stakeholders (HSBC)

Because UX designers don't have the time to easily make copy edits on their mockups, I would create wireframes in Word to help stakeholders visualize how the copy would appear on the site. 

This gave them a simple forum to make edits, leave comments, and was also helpful to show how lengthy marketing fluff or jargon could cause a negative customer experience.

Modals (AT&T)

Embedded on the Wireless team at AT&T, I worked in sprints with designers and project managers to update the myATT customer account hub. 

In this example, we're preparing for the error scenario where a customer clicks to add an add-on feature that isn't quite ready yet for purchase on the backend.

Accounting for all scenarios (AT&T)

Even though we write "mobile first," we still have to account for desktop scenarios such as displaying an image that would not appear on the mobile experience.

Additionally, as the UX copywriter I was also responsible for accounting for all possible variables. In this example, stakeholders only thought of customers with multiple devices so I included a scenario for customers with only 1 device - giving them options instead of a dead end:
